From its inception in 2021 to its completion in 2024, this residential project has been a harmonious fusion of tradition and innovation, offering its residents a sanctuary of unparalleled beauty and tranquillity.

Nestled along the main road of Prem Mandir, the Bageecha Farmhouse enjoys a privileged yet secluded position amidst vast expanses of agricultural land. Despite its central location, the property exudes a sense of tranquillity and solace, offering residents a respite from the chaos of urban life. The elongated proportions of the south-facing plot inspired a design approach that harmonises with the natural contours of the site, resulting in a linear planning layout that maximises views and embraces the surrounding landscape.

The design philosophy of the Bageecha Farmhouse revolves around the profound respect for authenticity and a deep connection to nature.

Drawing inspiration from traditional principles such as Vastu Shastra and courtyard design, the architecture seamlessly blends contemporary elements with timeless aesthetics. Geometric blocks punctuate the facade, framing picturesque views of the lush greenery and inviting the outdoors into the living spaces. Each room is meticulously designed to maximise natural light and offer panoramic vistas, creating a harmonious relationship between the built environment and its surroundings.

Upon entering the Bageecha Farmhouse, one is greeted with a captivating interplay of volumes and textures, characterised by exposed raw finishes that exude warmth and character. While the exterior boasts a rugged elegance reminiscent of brutalist architecture, the interiors radiate a sense of calm and tranquillity, reflecting the persona of the client—an ex-army official with a penchant for simplicity and understated luxury. Expansive windows blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, inviting the natural beauty of the surroundings into every corner of the residence.

Central to the design concept is the bio pond, strategically positioned between the main living and dining areas, serving as a focal point that breathes life into the space.

Formal and informal gathering areas seamlessly merge, offering residents a versatile environment for hosting and relaxation. The farmhouse celebrates farm living, fostering a symbiotic relationship between the occupants and the natural world, including the client’s affinity for animals.

In addition to its architectural prowess, the Bageecha Farmhouse prioritises sustainability and user well-being. The design maximises natural light and ventilation, while the integration of raw materials and rustic finishes enhances the sensory experience of the inhabitants. From climatic planning to courtyard design, every aspect of the residence is meticulously crafted to promote harmony with the environment and elevate the retreat experience.
