Δημιουργώντας μια κατοικία η οποία θα αναπτύσσει όλες τις χρήσεις της σε ένα και μόνο επίπεδο, επίπεδο το όποιο και θα εφάπτεται με το φυσικό έδαφος, περιορίζουμε το πλαίσιο θέασης όσον αφορά τον κατακόρυφο άξονα. Έτσι, επιλέχτηκε η διαίρεση της κύριας κατοικίας σε δύο επίπεδα, το πρώτο φιλοξενεί τους χώρους διημέρευσης και το δεύτερο τους χώρους ανάπαυσης των χρηστών.
Λαμβάνοντας υπ’ όψιν την αρχική μας χάραξη, η τοποθέτηση των δύο επίπεδων δημιουργεί ένα κύριο βλέμμα προς την παραλία και μόνον. Μη δεχόμενοι λοιπόν, τη μονόπλευρη αυτή σχεδίαση και εκμεταλλευόμενοι τη διαίρεση της κατοικίας σε δύο επίπεδα, σκοπίμως αμβλύνεται η γωνία θέασης των χρηστών περιστρέφοντας το επίπεδο των ιδιωτικών χρήσεων προς την ανατολή. Αποτέλεσμα αυτού είναι η πρόσθετη θέαση προς το νησί των Σπετσών και η δημιουργία μιας δυναμικής αποσύνδεσης των δυο επίπεδων. Ο ξενώνας λειτουργεί σα δορυφόρος της κύριας κατοικίας, τοποθετημένος ανεξάρτητα και σε χαμηλότερο επίπεδο απ` αυτή. Συνυπάρχει και διατηρεί τόσο την ιδιωτικότητά του όσο και την οπτική επαφή με το τοπίο και τη θάλασσα.

Unfolding the spaces of a residence in one and only level, that of ground level, it necessarily means the restraints of the view frame along the vertical axis. Therefore, the residence is designed in two levels, the ground floor hosting the main rooms (kitchen, living and dining room) and the upper level the more “private” rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms).
Following the initial drawing, both levels were orientated only towards the sea, which was against the main intention of the widest possible view frame. In order to maximize the angle of viewpoint from the interior of the house, the upper level is rotated above the ground floor and gets a vertical almost position to the volume below. The result is a two-storey house complex with a view towards nearly all the sides of the site around and located in such a way that the main openings of the main ground floor turn to the South and the pool and the open sea while the main openings of the private spaces on top turn to East and the island of Spetses. The one-store guest house in this holiday residence is placed independently from the main family house and on a lower level, also looking to the sea. It works as the main house`s satellite, co-exists but also reserves its own privacy.
