Οι Α&Μ Architects ανέλαβαν τον εσωτερικό σχεδιασμό ενός Boutique Hotel στη Μύκονο. Εποπτεύοντας από ψηλά την παραλία Ελιά στη νοτιοανατολική πλευρά της Μυκόνου, μία νέα άφιξη με τη σχεδιαστική υπογραφή των A&M ετοιμάζεται να κάνει την πρεμιέρα της.
Με μόλις 18 κλειδιά τα οποία έχουν μοιραστεί σε τρεις κατηγορίες δωματίων, σύμφωνα με τα τετραγωνικα αλλα και τη θεση τους, η μελέτη της διαμόρφωσης των χώρων επικεντρώθηκε κυρίως σε εσωτερικούς και κοινόχρηστους εξωτερικούς χώρους.
Ο σεβασμός για την αρχιτεκτονική του τόπου αποτέλεσε κύριο στόχο για το σχεδιασμό με την χρήση των υλικών να προέρχεται κατεξοχήν από τις Κυκλάδες. Πέτρα και υπόλευκες τοιχοποιίες πρωταγωνιστούν στο χώρο παραπέμποντας στα ασβεστωμένα σοκάκια της χώρας του νησιού ενώ οι ξύλινες πέργκολες μαζί με τους τόνους και τις υφές των υφασμάτων φέρνουν στο μυαλό αποχρώσεις της αμμουδιάς.
Ιδιαίτερη προσοχή δίνεται στην αίσθηση της φιλοξενίας από την πρώτη κιόλας είσοδο του χρήστη στο χώρο με την reception να αντιμετωπίζεται περισσότερο ως χώρος υποδοχής και καλωσορίσματος συνδυαστικά με το διπλανό pool bar όπου ο επισκέπτης δέχεται το πρώτο δείγμα φιλοξενίας με ένα welcome treatment.
Η πισίνα τοποθετείται στρατηγικά στο χώρο με άμεση θέα προς την παραλία ενώ δίπλα διαμορφώνεται ο χώρος του εστιατορίου και ακριβώς από κάτω ο το γυμναστήριο μαζί με ένα ιδιαίτερο private spa που θυμίζει μοντέρνα σπηλιά.

Located on the south-eastern part of Mykonos, Anemelia boutique hotel is making its appearance on the island carrying the design signature of A&M Architects. Sitting gracefully right above the sophisticated beach of Elia, the new hotel is set to offer unobstructed views to the Cycladic Sea along with a unique sense of place to its users.
With only 18 keys that have been distributed into three categories of rooms, depending on the square meters and their location, the design of the spaces focused mainly on indoor and communal outdoor areas. Having an undivided respect towards the local architecture, a key prerequisite was the use of materials mainly extracted from the island complex of Cyclades.
Stone and whitish masonry star in the space, referring to the island’s whitewashed alleys of “Chora”, while the wooden pergolas paired with the shades and textures of the fabrics used, make a direct reference to the sand.
From the very first entrance to the hotel, particular attention is paid to the sense of hospitality. The reception is being treated more as a welcome area and explicitly designed to abide to this flow of user movement creating a direct access to the adjacent pool bar where the visitor receives its first warming treatment.
The pool is strategically placed between the restaurant and the view to the beach while a private spa designed to create the illusion of a modern cave is located right below.
