ANNALISA AND PETER ZUMTHOR'S TIMBER HOUSES IN LEIS, VALS

“In 2009 we built two timber houses, the Oberhus and the Unterhus, in the hamlet of Leis, just over 1,500 m above sea level in the community of Vals in Grisons. Annalisa Zumthor lives in the Oberhus, and we started letting out the Unterhus for vacations in December 2012. A third timber house, the Türmlihus, will soon complete this little ensemble. The Türmlihus will welcome its first guests at late autumn 2013.

The two detached vacation houses are excquisitely furnished and are at disposal for the exclusive use of
our guests. In winter, the ski piste from Gadastatt down to the valley runs right past Leis and the vacation homes. During almost the entire winter season it is possible to begin skiing at one`s doorstep in the morning and return on skis in the evening. From early summer well into the fall, the timber houses are the starting point for numerous beautiful hikes.

We are very much looking forward to sharing the timber houses and Leis with many guests.”
