STANDING OUT FROM THE BLOCK: THE COCOON HOUSE IN VIETNAM / LANDMAK ARCHITECTURE

What happens when your neighborhood is composed of overwhelmingly identical houses that you are unable to distinguish? This question was convincingly answered by the Landmak Architecture with their Cocoon residence in Vietnam. In a block with similar two or three-storey houses they designed a residence, which certainly manages to stand out from the entire area: Its highly decorative white facade offering both privacy and shading achieves to catch your attention at once.

 

However, this captivating arrangement is a result of redesign as the previous condition was inevitably a brick row house, just like the rest ones of the block. The residence also comes with a private garden, quite hidden, but hospitable to sunlight.
