Japanese architect Tadao Ando talks about his first work ever to be built in the United States, on the corner of Kenamer & Elizabeth Str. in Manhattan, New York. This movie`s filmmaker, Marcus Werner Hed, also stated that “I’ve been a fan of Ando since my teens, and perhaps most surprising was his playfulness, his mischievousness“.
In the words of the Pritzker Prize-winning architect:
“A living space should be a sanctuary. It has to be a place where you can reflect on your life. When one arrives home, there`s a tranquil feeling. This project is about that.”
