FRENCH PUBLIC TRAINS TURN INTO FASCINATING MOBILE ART MUSEUMS

France can rightfully claim to be the patron country of arts. Therefore, it should have come as no surprise when the public train service, SNCF, owned by the state, announced that the interior of a commuter train would be covered with exquisite graphics with reference to impressionist art from the Musee d’Orsay (which was actually a train station before it became a museum).

Additionally, the striking resemblance of the architectural patterns to the Versailles Palace, seeking to bring new commuters to the service, renders their journey a pleasant and refreshing experience. The passengers will also have the opportunity to admire renowned works of art such as the “Morning Sun“ by Camille Pissarro, and the “Blue Water Lilies“ by Claude Monet.
