GET HOME BY HERMÈS AT SAATCHI GALLERY OF LONDON

Flânerie or flaneuring, this wonderful art of urban exploration and sometimes reckeless wandering through the city streets, seeing the unseeable and touching the remoteless untouchable is the main idea behind the exhibition “Hermès Wanderland“ that takes places in Saatchi Galery these days (9 April – 2 May 2015).

The meticulously selected dispalyed objects assemble the long journey of inspiration of Hermès during which this strong connection with the urban landscape and its exploration has been created.

The parisian landscape is the scene upon which the visitors, as flâneurs and strollers themselves, are supposed to explore an infinite world of joy and delightness as the true citizen would do, surrounded by sounds and objects with reference to Paris and its beloved elements. The eleven exhibition rooms are created by various artists and  this particular one, “Get Home”, is a video mapping installation based on an original drawing by Ugo Gattoni.
