A new space in upcoming’s Brooklyns area ‘ Red Hook’. The Intercourse opened about a year ago by the artist Dustin Yellin as a space that will promote young artists exhibitions, studio residencies , lectures ,workshops and music venues. Its a community based nonprofit organization which promotes the creation of and participation in the arts and science. The space is Housed in a 19th century brick and timber building. The majestic wooden structure is kept and juxtaposed to the new dividing white walls. The ground floor is mostly open plan hosting the exhibitions while a section of it belongs to the artists studio. Upstairs are most of the studio residencies and workshop areas for young artists.

Intercourse Magazine is an interview based periodical committed to the discussion of art and culture. Twice-yearly Intercourse Magazine features contributions and conversations from a cross-section of creative
