Stanley Kubrick (1928 – 1999) was an American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, editor, and photographer. His movies are considered to be among the most influential and important for the history and cinema and are often characterized by a geometrical scene layout which has been widely loved by architects and designers throughout the world. Apart from others techniques, the particularly habitual use of “one-point perspective” will be illustrated in this video, which leads the viewer`s eye towards a central vanishing point, relies on creating a complex visual symmetry using parallel lines in a scene which all converge on that single point, leading away from the viewer.
