“My name is Ruben. I am in my thirties. I went blind in my twenties. Some months ago Estudios Durero called me. They were working on a project of images for the blind with the Prado Museum and they wanted me to help them. I said “yes“.“
Estudios Dudero in collaboration the Prado Museum introduce Didú, a whole new, tactual way for blind people to perceive masterpieces of art. The paintings are reproduced by the help of a 3D printer, which provides them with volume so that a blind person could feel their sense by touching them.
This programme started on the 19th of January and will be on until the 28th of June 2015.
