4,5 KG WOODEN TABLE BY RUBEN BECKERS AT D3 DESIGN CONTEST

How light can a wood construction be and how light should this be in order to be functional and useful? Two questions that have influenced in the process of the conception process of this table. The Kleinergleich5 table was part of the Project Wood*Transformation leaded by Professor Jakob Gebert at the Künsthochschule in Kassel. The answer is Kleinergleich5 by Ruben Beckers, possibly the world`s lightest wooden table with 4,5 kg.
