After a long period away from Greece, where he studied in the Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands and his first working experience at the leather goods giant of Louis Vuitton, ALEXQUISITE is ready to present his very first complete collection!

Under the title _ONE, ALEXQUISITE is focused on presenting four fundamental pieces of the contemporary wardrobe for both men and women; a backpack, a tote, a cross-body and a laptop case.

Made entirely of genuine leather, the bags are introduced in four daring colour and texture combinations, in addition to a few one-offs in exotic skins and fur. Each design has been thoroughly developed. The aim was to eliminate any decorative element and create a recognisable but subtle formal language in a distinct colour palette.

Μετά από σπουδές στην Ολλανδία (Design Academy Eindhoven), και μετεκπαίδευση ενός έτους στο handbag design τμήμα, στον οίκο της Louis Vuitton στο Παρίσι, ο Έλληνας textile & leather goods designer, ALEXQUISITE παρουσιάζει την πρώτη ολοκληρωμένη συλλογή του.

Με τον τίτλο _ONE, το σχεδιαστικό ενδιαφέρον του designer στρέφεται σε τέσσερα βασικά κομμάτια για τη σύγχρονη urban γκαρνταρόμπα τόσο της γυναίκας όσο και του άνδρα: backpack, shopping bag, crossbody και θήκη laptop.

Κατασκευασμένες εξ’ολοκλήρου από δέρμα, οι χειροποίητες τσάντες παρουσιάζονται αρχικά σε 4 τολμηρούς χρωματικούς συνδυασμούς, καθώς και σε ένα μικρό αριθμό limited edition items με εξωτικά δέρματα και γούνα. Ο minimal σχεδιασμός των τελικών προϊόντων προέκυψε μετά από μήνες πειραματισμών και δοκιμών. Στόχος είναι να εξαλειφθούν τα περιττά διακοσμητικά στοιχεία, στοχεύοντας σε μια seamless σειρά που αποπνέει πρωτοτυπία, διακριτική πολυτέλεια αλλά κυρίως διαχρονικότητα.

Κάθε κομμάτι της συλλογής έχει ιδιαίτερο χαρακτήρα αφού έχει κατασκευαστεί στο χέρι από μικρά οικογενειακά εργαστήρια στην Ελλάδα.

Εξειδικευμένοι τεχνίτες, με δεκαετίες εμπειρίας και γνώσης στα χειροποίητα δερμάτινα είδη, επένδυσαν χρόνο και πάθος για ένα εντυπωσιακό αποτέλεσμα . Με προσήλωση, υπομονή και έμφαση στη λεπτομέρεια, πολυτελή υλικά μεταμορφώνονται σε αντικείμενα “τέχνης” καθημερινής χρήσης!
