DOKA concepts offers a Next-Level Dental Experience with calming interior and a Hospitality experience

Step into the new dental care studio LACH in Amsterdam, where hospitality, awareness, education, and high-quality dental care come together. Design agency DOKA Concepts has deliberately moved away from the conventional white dental aesthetic, crafting instead a warm and serene studio that prioritizes your well-being. A harmonious palette of calming coral and soothing blue seamlessly guides you from welcoming hospitality to professional dental care. In the welcoming studio there is no traditional reception desk; instead, a friendly host greets you in the waiting room.

The treatment rooms are designed to make you feel at ease, incorporating natural elements like bamboo and fostering a calm, professional atmosphere.

In the private brushing area, you’ll experience specialized toothpaste with blacklight effect and receive handy tips. A glass of water from the water feature, reminiscent of a calm water surface with its aluminum ripple sheet, and soothing space elements create a proven calming effect. The new LACH studio provides a next-level dental experience.

Warm Welcome in a Conscious Color Palette

In the studio, a warm, neutral base accented with lively coral and an embracing curved wall, welcomes you. An integrated seat in the same coral extends to the host stand, where you are personally greeted, and your coat is taken. Guests take a seat in inviting armchairs or first enjoy a refreshing glass of water at the water feature, reminiscent of a calm water surface with its aluminum ripple sheet.

The blue of water is extended to multiple places in the practice. The color palettes intuitively guide the journey from warm hospitality to professional dental care.

From Brushing in Blacklight to Zen in the Chair

In the private ‘brushing rooms’, you are guided towards achieving the cleanest teeth. Special toothpaste and blacklight reveal areas where you still need to brush, while brushing tips appear on the wall.

The corridors are enveloped in calming beige tones and bamboo walls, bathed in natural daylight. The same soothing atmosphere extends to the treatment rooms, where you have your own patient corner with a mirror and coat hooks, again with bamboo accents.

A cloud-like gradient from translucent to white creates a soft view in the treatment room, providing a sense of privacy. From here, you have a glimpse into the central area where dentists work. Here, a light blue world dominates, with walls, floors, and furniture in the same shade, creating a fresh contrast and emphasizing professionalism and oral care quality.

Throughout the practice, elements of biophilic design are integrated, such as round shapes, indirect lighting, abundant greenery, and natural materials like bamboo. The proven calming effect of these elements on the nervous system helps relax anxious patients.

Finally, even the scent of the typical clinical environment has been adjusted to this new concept, as well as the professional clothing. Contributing to a next-level experience of this refreshing and welcoming dental care studio LACH in Amsterdam.
