Πρόκληση του έργου αποτέλεσε η ανάδειξη ενός αρχιτεκτονικού στοιχείου, αυτού της κυκλικής κολώνας, το οποίο επαναλαμβάνεται στο αρχιτεκτονικό κέλυφος δημιουργώντας ενδιαφέρουσες εισόδους στους επιμέρους χώρους. Έτσι, ο κύκλος και κατ’ επέκταση η καμπύλη, στην πιο ελεύθερη μορφή του, ενσωματώθηκε στην ιδέα του φωτισμού και αποτέλεσε τον βασικό πυλώνα του σχεδιασμού.

Συγκεκριμένα, η πρόταση φωτισμού περιλάμβανε custom κυκλικά φωτιστικά ποικίλων διαμέτρων, τα οποία προσδίδουν ρυθμό και μια ενδιαφέρουσα ροή στο χώρο, καθώς και custom καμπύλες γραμμές, οι οποίες «αγκαλιάζουν» τις κολώνες οριοθετώντας το σχήμα τους και αναδεικνύοντας τον πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο τους στο χώρο.

Εκτός από τον αρχιτεκτονικό παράγοντα, βασικός στόχος του φωτισμού των γραφείων αποτέλεσε ο σεβασμός των εξειδικευμένων αναγκών των χρηστών. Για το λόγο αυτό, η επιλογή των φωτιστικών έγινε με γνώμονα τα τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά που επιτυγχάνουν την ομοιομορφία και την οπτική άνεση των χρηστών, ενώ ταυτόχρονα διαθέτουν υψηλή αισθητική εφάμιλλη της χρήσης του χώρου.

Έτσι, ο συνδυασμός της δημιουργικότητας και της συγκέντρωσης που απαιτούνται σε έναν χώρο γραφείων αποδίδονται τόσο μέσω της μορφής και τοποθέτησης των φωτιστικών, όσο και μέσω της τεχνικής αρτιότητας που τα διέπει.

The project’s challenge involved accentuating a circular architectural element, the column, repeated in the design to create engaging entrances to distinct spaces. The lighting concept integrated the circle and curve as its focal point, featuring bespoke luminaires of varying diameters for rhythm and flow, and curved lines that complemented and emphasized the columns’ significance. Addressing both architectural and user-specific needs, the lighting selection prioritized technical characteristics to ensure visual comfort, uniformity, and aesthetic quality, contributing to a harmonious blend of creativity and focus in the office environment.

The challenge of the project was to highlight an architectural element, that of a circular column, which is repeated in the architectural shell, creating interesting entrances to the individual spaces. Thus, the circle and by extension the curve, in its most open form, was incorporated into the lighting concept and became the main pillar of the design.

Specifically, the lighting proposal included custom circular luminaires of varying diameters, which add rhythm and an interesting flow to the space, as well as custom curved lines, which “embrace” the columns, defining their shape and highlighting their leading role in the space.

In addition to the architectural factor, a key objective of the office lighting was to respect the specialized needs of the users. For this reason, the choice of luminaires was based on technical characteristics that provide uniformity and visual comfort for the users, while at the same time offering a high aesthetic quality that is comparable to the use of the space.

Thus, the combination of creativity and concentration required in an office space is achieved both through the form and positioning of the luminaires and through the technical excellence that characterizes them.
