Guardian Glass has introduced a new temperable lacquered glass for decorative applications in areas where safety is a concern or glass is exposed to high temperatures.
Guardian Deco HT™ is a lead-free, high-gloss painted glass created using a special coating system that provides a bright, uniform appearance after heat treatment. Guardian Deco HT, is available in two colours, black and white.
Guardian Deco HT is ideal for a wide variety of applications in the home and workplace, ranging from back splash zones in kitchens and bathrooms, interior wall cladding, work surfaces, writing boards and displays, doors, as well as railings and balustrades.
It is also suitable for use in exterior applications in façades, such as spandrel glass and exterior wall cladding – anywhere that Deco HT’s blend of safety and beauty can be appreciated.
Deco HT saves time, effort and increases productivity: glass processors no longer need to store paint and solvents or wait for paint to dry, they only need to cut to size and temper the already coated glass.
Introducing the new product, Andras Kovacs, Product Manager at Guardian Glass in Europe says: “Guardian Deco HT provides an excellent alternative to roller-coated painted glass, not only in terms of productivity, but also because it offers higher aesthetical quality. Thanks to the application of Guardian technology, Deco HT has a more uniform and consistent colour, batch after batch.”
