Hungarian Balint Alovits explores the mesmerising Bauhaus and Art-Deco staircases of Budapest in the Time Machine photography series.
As Balint Alovits explains in his website, “with the pulling energy of these spiral forms, the works of Time Machine create a new dimension by splitting space and time. Simultaneously, they stay within the visual limits of the project’s concept, while the perception of the architectural details evokes the idea of infinity”.
These central-point perspective shots derive from Balint`s interest in spatiality and interior architecture, although his projects include a series in the outdoors as well. He likes “discovering unknown places, looking for the pure aesthetics and harmony in nature and built environment”.
