Lucie Palombi is an architecture student who designs beautiful drawings, takes skillful photographs plus, as you are about to see, narrates a story that captures your senses and imagination.
This is the story of a journey to Japan by Lucie Palombi during the month of April between the Tateyama Alpine Route, the Teshima and Naoshima Islands, Takamatsu, Nagasaki, Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, and other cities by boat, train, bicyle, walk.
It is a perpetual journey between sea and mountains, which go together with the land of the rising sun.
There is immensity.
There is the snow as far as the eye can see, the white that extends to infinity.
There is a corridor of ice in which you make your way. There is a stopover.
There is a port, an island, beaches and silos.
There is the sea wind. There is the sun setting. There is the mist, the trees that cover the mountain, the river that runs, the cherry trees in bloom.
There is the city and its sounds.
There are innumerable signs and neon lights.
There are bars that are accessed by stairs.
There are regulars, tourists, passers-by.
There are the cars that come along the road.
There is infrastructure across the buildings.
