D.O.T. (Design On Tour) is an exhibition concept exploring compact living and nomadic lifestyle. Combining design, architecture and communication, Aarhus School of Architecture transforms and customizes a caravan and cross borders to present new objects, ideas and concepts. 16 talented students from »Studio Design« invite everyone in for a cup of coffee and a discussion about making, thinking and engaging through architecture. D.O.T. will exhibit and camp outside Tempelhof Airport in Berlin during the DMY 2013.
16 students have transformed the former Hobby 450 Caravan into a contemporary bersion of a vehicle, a mobile home or a pice of rolling furniture using craftsmanship, simple materials and critical sense that expands our imagination of typical caravan. Welcome to D.O.T Design On Tour and a discussion about making, thinking and engaging through architecture.
Karen Kjaergaard, Associate Professor from the Aarhus School of Architecture.
