Ανάπλαση πρώην στρατοπέδου Αγίας Παρασκευής - Κέντρο πολιτιστικών εγκαταστάσεων αναψυχής και ευεξίας | Διπλωματική εργασία του Ελευθέριου Οδυσσέα Μπουραντά

Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία του Ελευθέριου Οδυσσέα Μπουραντά, αποτελεί πρόταση ανάπλασης του πρώην στρατοπέδου Σπυρούδη στον δήμο Αγίας Παρασκευής Αττικής, όπου αντικαθίστανται τα υφιστάμενα, ερειπωμένα κτήρια, με μια ζωντανή δομή δικτύου πολιτισμού προσβάσιμη από όλους.

Η πρόταση επικεντρώνεται στην ανάγκη της περιοχής μελέτης για την στέγαση χώρων πολιτισμού και στη σύνδεση της με τις υφιστάμενες πολιτιστικές δραστηριότητες.

Ο σχεδιασμός αφορά την δημιουργία ενός δημόσιου Κέντρου πολιτισμού με εγκαταστάσεις καλλιτεχνικής έκφρασης σε συνδυασμό με δομές αποφόρτισης και ευεξίας.

Βασική πρόθεση ήταν η συσχέτιση της περιοχής μελέτης με τους πρόποδες του Υμηττού και το τοπίο δημιουργώντας ένα κτηριακό σύνολο το οποίο σέβεται το ανάγλυφο και τον χαρακτήρα της γειτονιάς , και έχει ως κύριο στόχο την αναβάθμιση της δημόσιας ψυχικής και σωματικής υγείας, μέσω της τέχνης , του αθλητισμού και της χαλάρωσης.

This Diploma thesis by Eleftherios Odisseas Bourantas, refers to the reconstruction of the camp Ag. Paraskevi with the aim of replacing the existing structures and the existing situation, giving the city new spaces for culture and relaxation and strengthening the public greenery and the relationship with the routes of Ymittos.

Combining the needs for public expression and graffiti culture the proposal focuses on the need of the neighborhood’s social groups but also provides a public space with sectors for every age.

The challenge was to accommodate cultural spaces and its connection with the existing cultural activities, without altering the local character.

The design concerns the creation of a public cultural center with facilities for artistic expression combined with relaxation and wellness structures In addition to the real time art workshops, the main sector which is art, contains a 3000s.m. theater that hosts performances for over 600 people. On the south area we will meet the wellbeing center, that hosts thermal baths and spaces of relaxation.

The main intention was to associate the study area with the foothills of Hymettus and the landscape, creating a building complex that respects the relief and character of the neighborhood, and has as its main objective the upgrading of public mental and physical health, through three main sectors:  art and creativity, sports and nature, and mental wellbeing.
